We were so impressed with the food and service after our first visit that we made another reservation straight away. We were welcomed very nicely with two children, the regional products absolutely convinced us and there was also a nice selection for the children. The buttered potatoes are the best I've eaten so far. Unreservedly recommendable, should we come back to the island, we will definitely make reservations there again.

As a holidaymaker for the first time on the island, like everyone else, we are looking for a way to end the day with a good meal in the evening. A sign, reservations requested, gave us little hope. It costs nothing to ask. A friendly service ,; unfortunately no longer inside. Outside, sheltered from the wind, we found space, which my wife also liked. The menu was brought with the recommendation of the mussels. We decided quickly, drink and dish. Actually, we prepared to wait. Because the shop was very busy. We were pleasantly surprised across the board. The drinks came quickly. The court timely. The meat seared in time did not dry out just right. Fresh mushrooms brown the onions not bitter. The fried potatoes reasonable. Unfortunately no side salad. But also logical, the price would then exceed the 20 euros for the dish. Everything done right. No question, come back. Back again, this time fish. Abbreviate it. Plaice and cod to the point. Is there an increase for perfect? A third is planned. Once you have found a good restaurant, you stick to it.

The food has been better the last few years. Price performance ratio is no longer correct. The cordon bleu lacks cheese. The service is good as always. It's a shame that the food has subsided. Ambience very nice

Completely overrated !!! Fish tasteless, steak badly fried. Service, especially from the boss and owner, was rude and arrogant. Restaurant advertises with "sustainability" and local products. Prawns from Argentina and beef from the Allgäu on Langeoog! Either you don't understand the system of sustainability, or you want to deliberately fool the customer.

Nice little eatery right on the main street. Service is friendly and the food from is on the table without a long wait. Not only does it look good, it is also delicious. For 4 people you should expect about 100 euros.

Wonderful restaurant with an excellent kitchen. The menu is balanced and dimensioned to fit exactly and the fish eaten was finished on the spot. I only found the drink prices slightly higher in the island average disturbing. The central location and the friendly, uncomplicated waiters are definitely a plus point. There is also meat from the Allgäu and regional fish from Greetsiel. An absolute recommendation, not an insider tip, but it doesn't have to be. :-)

Friendly and well-trained staff, we had medallions and schnitzel from the chanterelle menu. The meat was excellent and so was the sauce and side dishes. A trained chef or someone with passion cooks here.
